We launched our new MiniHELI circular polarised mining antennas at AIMEX (Asia-Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition) in Sydney from 27 to 29 August 2019. We were sharing a booth with Rajant Corporation, Madison Technologies, Extronics Ltd. and Australian Droid+Robot.

Our MiniHELI antennas form part of an underground solution presented at AIMEX, forming a strategic partnership between these companies. According to Stephen Froneman, CEO of POYNTING Antennas, the MiniHELI series was well received by attendees. This series of smaller HELI antennas consists of medium to high gain uni-directional and bi-directional antennas. These antennas are suited for mining and other types of tunnels, where high performance connectivity is required, but a smaller physical size is desired. These antennas can be used in 2×2 MIMO configuration or as SISO antennas for backhaul Wi-Fi links, as well as Wi-Fi distribution into smaller cavities, such as the stopes. Our MiniHELI range is equipped with both Right Hand and Left Hand Circular Polarised elements to provide the best MIMO performance possible.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=”3_5,2_5″ _builder_version=”4.4.1″ width=”100%”][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ _builder_version=”4.4.1″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.4.6″]

USAT Corp 2019 – South Carolina, August 2019

POYNTING’s partner in the United States, USAT Corp. recently exhibited at the Cooperative Technologies Conference & Expo in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from 13 – 19 August 2019.

Rural Electric Membership Cooperatives recognize the value of the POYNTING antenna line, as they often are tasked with bringing cellular connectivity to remote regions in order to monitor their infrastructure. At the show, USAT demonstrated XPOL-2 and LPDA-92 antennas and the booth staff reported that the antennas generated a lot of interest from attendees.

KnowIT – Italy, September 2019

KnowIT, the Italian partner of Peplink and POYNTING Antennas, exhibited at the Genoa Boat Show from 19 to 24 September 2019, Hall B Superior Stand X1.

KnowIT was showcasing their range of POYNTING antennas including the popular OMNI-402, a 2×2 MiMo Marine and Coastal Antenna that covers the 410MHZ–2700MHz bands. The MIMO-3 also attracted the visitors’ attention of this 5-in-1 antenna, which includes 2 x MiMo LTE, 2 x MiMo WIFI and GPS / GLONASS antennas in a single and easy to install housing.

These antennas perform very well when paired with the Peplink 4G and LTE-A Nautical routers with one or more SIM cards. These routers are managed and monitored via the InControl2 cloud SW.
