LTE Goes Underground

Connectivity solutions like Wi-Fi and Fibre are readily available in underground environments, with various systems worldwide using the Poynting series of Mining and Tunnelling antennas. We have recently developed helically polarised antennas for LTE which opens up many more technology options to address the ever-growing demand for underground connectivity. We are also developing new 5G compatible antennas, starting with the launch of our new XPOL-2-5G antenna which will be an addition to our current, popular XPOL-2 antenna.
