POYNTING Europe Out & About - EUROPORT Exhibition, Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Birger Hillaert and John Hoeven attended the Europort exhibition that took place in Rotterdam from 7-10 November. POYNTING was invited by Dutch IT and by Blue Wireless / Wireless Logic to feature our antennas and participate at their stands. During the event, we provided detailed information about our Marine and Coastal Antennas.
On the Dutch IT stand, we exhibited with multiple brands and products like IT Systems from Scale Computing. The POYNTING WaveHunter and RIPPLE Antenna arrays were very popular on this stand.
On the Blue Wireless / Wireless Logic stand we our antennas was also shown in conjunction with Peplink and Cradlepoint.
Wireless Logic created a very nice raffle where they had a Titanic ship built from LEGO. You had to guess the number of LEGO bricks in the Titanic and leave your business card to win the beautiful ship. This display attracted a lot of people to the stand.
It was also great to see Castor Marine at Europort. Castor Marine provides reliable satellite communications options for the Maritime, Offshore, Shipping, Superyachts, and Cruise Industries. Their main business is Satellite communication and 4G/5G is a nice add-on to their portfolio. Castor was one of the first customers of our Narwhal antennas! And they brought our antennas to the show. The Narwhal series was specifically designed for marine & coastal applications and offers a variety of configurations with 5G/LTE omni-directional antennas from 2×2 to 4×4 MIMO. The antennas feature ultra-wideband coverage from 617 to 4200 MHz, with gains varying from 3dBi to 8dBi and near perfect omni-directional radiation patterns for optimal performance.
After the show we had a nice dinner with some industry partners including Telenor Maritime and Dutch IT.
METSTRADE Exhibition, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

POYNTING was invited by Dutch IT, part of Netways group, to showcase our antennas and join them at their stand to provide insights into our Maritime antenna solutions for the Superyacht industry (40 meters and above). Our exhibition featured a diverse range of brands and products, including IT Systems from Scale Computing and High-End audio solutions from Genesis Marine Technologies.
Throughout the event, we hosted a happy hour at our stand on both Wednesday and Thursday. This initiative garnered significant interest, drawing attendees not only for the refreshments but also for the valuable information that was shared.
Additional to our presence at this stand our RIPPLE Solution was also featured at the Cellweaver (based in Germany) and Locomarine (based our partner in Croatia) stands.
The RIPPLE is an omni-directional antenna solution designed specifically for the maritime industry. With its ultra-wideband coverage from 617 to 7200 MHz, the RIPPLE ensures reliable cellular connectivity in remote maritime regions. The solution features up to 8 x 8 or 16 x 16 MIMO cellular antennas, which are vertically and horizontally polarized omni-directional antennas, delivering improved performance and near-perfect radiation patterns.
Being part of METSTRADE this year and showcasing POYNTING in two superyacht pavilions and the main Superyacht hall was genuinely an honor.
After the show we had a nice dinner with some system integrators and partners. Great to relax after such an intense event.

We are excited to announce that Dora Sousa has joined POYNTING Europe GmbH as our new Marketing Manager! Dora is a well-experienced marketing manager with a proven track record of success in the consumer and technology industries. She is passionate about building strong relationships and using her expertise to help businesses grow.
