The marine antenna range is designed within Poynting’s customary
requirements of high performance, wide bandwidth, and exceptional quality.
The range covers LTE and 5G reception at sea, as well as antennas to
provide dual-band Wi-Fi distribution at sea.

Six 4×4 MIMO Marine & Coastal Antenna Array. The WaveHunter enclosures are designed to fit a variety of router and networking modules, transforming the antenna enclosure into a Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) – just add your own LTE/5G routers and networking equipment. The WaveHunter enclosure can accommodate routers up to the size of 250 x 150 x 50 mm.
Narwhal Series (OMNI-900’s)
OMNI-DIRECTIONAL, MARINE & COASTAL 5G/LTE ANTENNA
The Narwhal series was specifically designed for marine & coastal applications and offers a variety of configurations with 5G/LTE omni-directional antennas from 2×2 to 4×4 MIMO. The antennas feature ultra-wideband coverage from 617 to 4200 MHz, with gains varying from 3dBi to 8dBi and near perfect omni-directional radiation patterns for optimal performance.
The Narwhal Series boasts with an IP68 protection against water ingress, making it ideal for the adverse conditions at sea. The radomes are fully salt water protected, to ensure protection in highly corrosive environments, thanks to the fiberglass radome material. The Narwhal series guarantees signal reception almost everywhere and is usable in all parts of the world.
OMNI-414 & Omni-402
OMNI-DIRECTIONAL, MARINE & COASTAL 4×4/2×2 MIMO ANTENNA
The OMNI-414 and OMNI-402 is an ultra-wideband antenna, with 4×4 (OMNI-414) and 2×2 (Omni-402) MIMO capability for optimal performance in marine & coastal applications. The antenna operates from 617 to 3800 MHz / 410 to 3800 MHz (Omni-402), covering all contemporary LTE/5G bands with excellent omni-directional radiation pattern for improved performance.
The antenna comes with an IP68 (IP67 – Omni-402) protection rating against dust and water ingress, making it ideal for most severe storms at sea. The radome is also fully salt water protected so that it can be used in highly corrosive environments and marine applications.
OMNI-DIRECTIONAL, MARINE & COASTAL 5G/LTE ANTENNA
The OMNI-493 is an ultra-wideband, high performance, omni-directional antenna that covers the contemporary 4G/LTE and future 5G operating frequencies with excellently balanced gain across all frequencies.
The ultra-wideband performance from the antenna allows it to operate from 617 to 3800 MHz, with a peak gain of 9 dBi. The antenna design allows for superior pattern control over the entire frequency range, making the OMNI-493 a true high performance omni-directional antenna, suitable for marine and coastal applications.
The OMNI-493 antenna boasts an IP68 protection rating against water ingress, making it ideal for the most severe storms at sea. The antenna is also fully salt water protected so that it can be used in highly corrosive environments, including chemical and toxic environments thanks to the UV stable ASA radome material.
X-POLARISED, OMNI-DIRECTIONAL, 5G/LTE & WI-FI CPE
The EPNT-4 is Poynting’s newly added omni-directional, customer-premises equipment (CPE). The EPNT-4 offers a variety of antennas in one package, such as 4×4 5G/LTE MIMO, 2×2 Wi-Fi MIMO, as well as an additional GPS antenna. The cellular 5G/LTE antennas are wideband and operate from 617 to 4200 MHz, covering the major 5G/LTE bands with excellent gain across all frequencies, enhancing the 5G performance features, such as multi carrier aggregation (CA) for communication. While the Wi-Fi antennas offer dual band operation and cover the 2.4 GHz and 5 to 7.2 GHz Wi-Fi bands with a peak gain of 5 dBi.
OMNI DIRECTIONAL ANTENNA
Poynting’s PUCK series offers a small profile antenna for use in the Marine market. The PUCK series offers a variety of options for MIMO LTE/5G (617 to 4200 MHz), MIMO Wi-Fi (dual band 2.4 GHz & 5 to 6 GHz) and GPS/GLONASS within the same enclosure, while keeping implementation as simple as possible with its many mounting options.
Due to the excellent engineering and solid design, the PUCK series provides exceptional performance for its small size.The PUCK-series has a small and low-profile design with dimensions Ø100 mm x 36 mm. They were designed to be rugged and ideal for operation in marine and coastal environmental conditions.
The PUCK series features an IP68 ingress protection rating, which indicates that it is dust and water ingress protected. The series also features an IK10 impact rating, adding to the ruggedness of the series.
