Rural communities often lack broadband access and therefore miss out on
opportunities for digital transformation, including the ability to participate in
the digital economy. With Poynting’s range of high gain antennas we can
improve internet access to rural areas. When using outdoor antennas
individuals and communities in the most remote areas can connect to
the broadband infrastructure.
In contrary, dense urban areas have abundant access to broadband internet
from a variety of providers. But even if a strong cell signal exists outside your
house or office, you may have little or no cell coverage indoors, regardless of
the network carrier you use. Poynting also offers a range of easy to install
outdoor antennas for those in an urban environment.

CROSS-POLARISED, LTE/5G & WI-FI ANTENNA ENCLOSURES
The ePoynt enclosures are designed to fit a variety of router modules, transforming the antenna enclosure into a Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) – just add your own LTE/5G router.
The ePoynt enclosure can accommodate routers up to the size of 185 x 145 x 45 mm³. The ePoynt-1 (EPNT-1) combines four cross-polarised omni-directional LTE/5G antennas that offer wideband coverage from 617 to 3800 MHz, with a peak gain 5 dBi.
This is ideal in built-up areas where there are several base stations close by, but where higher stability and throughput is required due to its enhanced MIMO configuration.
The ePoynt-2 (EPNT-2) provides two cross-polarised, high gain, uni-directional antennas that offers wideband coverage from 698 to 3800 MHz, with a peak gain of 11 dBi. It also contains two omni-directional antennas from the abovementioned ePoynt-1, making it deal for 4×4 MIMO or dual 2×2 MIMO routers. Both ePoynt series include two dual-band Wi-Fi antennas that cover the 2.4 GHz and 5 to 6 GHz Wi-Fi bands for 2×2 MIMO. The ePoynt series enclosures were designed to withstand adverse weather conditions, making the antenna weatherproof and waterproof with an IP65 rating.
WIDEBAND LOG-PERIODIC DIPOLE ARRAY ANTENNA
The LPDA Series is a high-gain, wideband, directional antenna that operates from 698 to 3800 MHz (7200 MHz – LPDA-500), with a peak gain of 11 dBi. This ensures that the antenna covers all international cellular and wireless data bands including GSM900/ GSM1800/UMTS/LTE bands.
It also covers the extended cellular and WiMAX bands such as European/USA “Digital Dividend bands” and 2.3- 2.7GHz licensed and unlicensed data bands. Its configuration is suitable for various wireless communications systems. This antenna is unique in its combination of ultra-wide-band operator with a consistent high-gain performance.
It has been successfully used in extreme weather environments in Africa and Europe with close to zero failures. A firm favourite, in any area where operators are having signal challenges. It is ideal for any application using the GSM network (LTE/ HSPA/3G/EDGE/GPRS).
X-POLARISED, HIGH GAIN, UNI-DIRECTIONAL LTE/5G ANTENNA
The XPOL-2-5G and XPOL-2-5G-US is Poynting’s third generation “V3” of its very popular Cross-Polarised (XPOL), 2×2 MIMO antenna. The antennas make of advanced metamaterial technology, also know as Artificial Magnetic Conductors (AMC’s) to yield exceptional performance in bandwidth and gain.
Radiation patterns of the antennas are exceptionally well controlled, further adding to the performance of the antennas.
The antennas perform exceptionally well in the following frequency bands: 617 – 960 MHz, 1710 – 2700 MHz & 3400 – 3800 MHz. With a peak gain of 11 dBi across the bands of operation.
The antennas cover the up and coming 5G bands, including the lower 617 to 698 MHz (Band 71) and the upper 3400 to 3800 MHz (CBRS Bands) for future proof deployments.
