Field Application Technician

My name is Sizwe Masemola, I joined POYNTING Antennas as a Field Application Technician in New Markets and Special Projects. I am a dedicated and detail-oriented electrical engineering graduate with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Johannesburg. I come from kwaNdebele at the place called Siyabuswa.

My professional journey so far has been both dynamic and technically enriching. I started my career working for ICASA as a Radio Frequency Spectrum Licensing Graduate. I mainly worked with Broadcasting Frequency Co-ordination Unit licensing broadcasting spectrum. While with the Authority, I also got a chance to work with Type Approval Unit looking at the different RF technologies or devices coming into and are used in the country. From there on I worked for Columbus Stainless as a Production Team Manager in Training. The company specializes in stainless steel production. As someone who is passionate about RF and telecommunication, I applied for a role as a Radio Planning and Optimization Graduate Engineer at MTN SA. Then on I worked for MTN SA for more than 1 year 5 months until joining POYNTING Antennas in my current role.

Junior Graphic Designer

Hello everyone,
My name is Kiyana, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new Junior Graphic Designer at POYNTING. While I tend to be a bit reserved initially, I am passionate, enthusiastic, and eager to contribute to the creative team. I look forward to growing both professionally and creatively in this role and am thrilled to embark on this journey with POYNTING.

My interest in art began in grade 2 during my time in art class, and since then, I have been committed to pursuing a career in the creative industry. Having been born and raised in Johannesburg, I’ve spent the last five years living in various places, but I am now happily settled back in my hometown. I am excited to continue learning and developing my skills as part of this dynamic team.
