I have always worked in the logistics and towing industries, so this is a very exciting step in my career as it is a completely different industry.

I hold an advanced Diploma in Financial management and hopefully will start and finish my Honours Degree in financial management this year.

I am grateful for the opportunity to add value to the company and look forward to growing within the company. I appreciate the team I am a part of, they have been very helpful and welcoming, and I look forward to a very productive working relationship.

…13 years’ experience not only in web design / development but also in graphic design, printing, signage and much more.

I love being involved in all aspects within the company, new technologies and movements and offer my assistance in and around the office (I do not always do what my job title stipulates). I am very, very passionate to teach/share my knowledge with others.

In the past few years, I have had the privilege of working with big house names in South Africa (Huisgenoot, PriMedia Broadcasting, Sanral, WEIR Minerals) to name a few – these opportunities gave me the chance to evolve from a “self-centered” creative to a puzzle piece creative (where your ideas can spark another creative person to push their boundaries and their knowledge to a different level). To make your footprint count in the world you need to leave knowledge, wisdom, and solutions behind for others to develop from (even if it’s just a plain vanilla cake recipe).

I have a very quirky sense of humour but can also laugh just as hard to a slight-ish darker joke. Elvis Presley and Tom Waits (Rock) are my go-to music, but I do also appreciate Black Keys, ACDC and then anything Alternative Rock, POP, and good old-fashioned Classics.

I have a wonderful family of 3, married to my high school sweetheart, a gorgeous 2 almost 3-year-old little girl. Two AMAZING beagles and one Boer bull cross. We love going to dog parks, hiking and FOOD oh my word, we all (dogs included) love food! We are a Netherlands/South African household and are outside kind of people. I am part of a charity, Taking Hands Foundation, we assist children in a house of safety with daily necessities and school supplies.

My ambitions and goals are to live comfortably, evolve in a better developer/designer as the previous year and push industry boundaries.

It’s a very big privilege to be part of a company like POYNTING that not only consider work important but the wellbeing of the employees as well.

I believe if I can imagine it with the support of my fellow colleagues and ambitions of the managing partners, we can move the world!

I have over 30 years’ experience in various areas of business including PA, administration, business development coordination, project coordination, marketing & events, human resources and learning & development.

I am a friendly, humble, caring and respectful person.  I take great pride in my work ethic and will jump in and assist wherever I am needed.  I get on with people from all walks of life and I have a great sense of humour!  I think these traits will benefit me at POYNTING and add value to the Executives and my colleagues.

I am happily married to my husband Wayne.  We have 3 daughters, Brittany, Ajia and Erin and a grandson, Riley.

I spend a lot of time with my family, in my garden and doing DIY projects around the house.  On weekends we enjoy going for long motorbike rides and spending time away with friends.

Thank you to everyone for the incredibly warm welcome I received when joining.  One of the things that stood out for me from day one, is the company culture.  Wow!  The culture at POYNTING Antennas is second to none!

POYNTING Antennas is where I started with my Telecommunications career, and I am super excited to be back and to be part of this great company.

I also enjoy being outdoors, hiking, camping or just enjoying nature. Family time is important, and seeing that time goes by so quickly, we try to make the most of it when we can.

I worked with POYNTING during my final year project, supervised by Dr Andre Fourie, and was extremely interested in the work they do.

I enjoy spending time rock climbing, swimming, and reading.
