Pamela Mnyaka is a mother of a gorgeous 6-year-old daughter, family is very important to me, I come from a family of 5, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
We hail from a beautiful coastal town in the Eastern Cape called Port St Johns. I love to travel, being on the road always keeps me focused as I do most of my thinking there. I have worked at corporates like RMB Private bank for 9 years and Vodacom for over 8, having gained experience in learning and development, Sales and Marketing and Community Engagements. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, Training and Development Certificate and I have started studying towards my Postgraduate in BA. I’m looking forward to being a part of the POYNTING family.
Hi everyone, my name is Peter Griffiths and I joined the POYNTING Group in June this year as Chief Operations Officer of POYNTING Delta.
I have 17 year’s work experience in the South African electronic product manufacturing industry; 14 years leading decoder after sales support services to MultiChoice South Africa and 3 years as executive lead of South Africa’s leading electronic component sales and distribution company. In 2019 I joined a Swiss based PBO as country lead. The PBO provided a youth facilitated digital numeracy and literacy learning program to 15,000 grade 4 to 7 learners in marginalised communities across Zambia. Academically, I have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting science and an MBA. I am looking forward to being part of the POYNTING team as well as being part of the business challenge to grow the FibrePoynt / POYNTING Delta offering in the market place.
I have mainly performed roles in enterprise development, focusing on technology enterprises, business incubation, and innovation funding.
Driven by relentless passion and the expectation that innovation and SMEs are the bedrock of economic growth, I decided to get involved in supporting young companies as an independent advisor and within corporate contexts. In these roles I have supported early-stage technology innovators to commercialize their inventions through involvement in programs such as FNB Innovation champions, Microsoft AppFactory, Telkom FutureMakers, The Innovation Hub, Softstart BTI, and the Technology Innovation Agency. Through these experiences, I have immensely contributed to shaping the entrepreneurial ecosystems across South Africa.
Through my involvement with the Fibrepoynt project, dating back to three years ago, I have been instrumental in supporting the company to overcome typical start-up challenges such as strategy development, and funding. I believe there is no better role to make my contribution now than leading the Fibrepoynt project to a whole new level, achieving commercial success, by delivering a lasting impact to communities through broadband connectivity and access.
I hold a Master of Management degree with specialisation in entrepreneurship & new venture creation, where my research focused on internationalisation of firms. I have also completed several academic qualifications and high-level industry programs such as Diploma in Information Technology, Postgraduate Diploma in Management, Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst, and Advanced Corporate Finance and Governance.
In my prior earlier roles, I worked in more analytical positions as a computer programmer, data and business analyst, quantitative analyst, and business analyst financial accountant within the banking sector.
