Poynting continues to be represented by our staff and trusted partners from Singapore, to North Carolina, to Belgium. Read more about ConnecTechAsia, NCLGISA, and a Knowledge Session with MCS.
ConnecTech Asia – Singapore
Blue Wireless took part in ConnecTechAsia 2019, comprising BroadcastAsia, CommunicAsia and NXTAsia, at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore from 18 to 20 July 2019. They were showcasing the latest Cradlepoint equipment, Poynting Antennas and a range of services at Level 5 Booth 5F5-01.
“Reliable, flexible internet connectivity is essential for any business location, big or small and our presence at NXTAsia is to demonstrate our capabilities to provide connectivity in difficult locations using Cradlepoint solutions and Poynting antennas.” – said Ivan Landen, CEO of Blue Wireless.
Our sales team demonstrated Poynting antennas during the event in order to help the delegates understand the various products better. The event was a great success and we received over 200 leads and inquiries at the event.
USAT NCLGISA – North Carolina
USAT Corp. Poynting’s North American partner exhibited Log Periodic Dipole Array (LPDA), XPOL and Marine OMNI Directional Antennas at NCLGISA Spring 2019 held on May 22nd -25th in Wilmington, North Carolina. NCLGISA is the North Carolina Local Government Information Services Association, therefore all show attendees are IT employees in local, county, and state level government.
With much of North Carolina being rural the Poynting Antennas are always of great interest. The Poynting Antenna display caught everyone’s eye and was the start of the vast majority of conversations.
We were very honoured to be invited to MCS Belgium’s first Knowledge Session titled “Meten is Weten” or “Measuring is Knowing”, by Sofie Lauwereys.
This Knowledge Session focussed on antenna technology and antenna solutions as part of telecommunication.
Jean-Philippe Aerts, IoT Product Specialist and Manager MCS Belgium and Filip Coenen, IoT Account Manager, gave a presentation giving an overview of MCS and projects in both Belgium and the Netherlands
Mr Tjeerd Huitema from Poynting Europe discussed how to select the right antenna for your applications. He gave an overview of the antenna types that are available and what the differences are between these types. You also carefully look at the radiation pattern of the antenna at the frequencies you are using, as week as the gain at that frequency.
Poynting designs and manufactures very broadband antennas that are optimised for 3G, 4G and 5G. Through superior electrical design and build quality the performance is excellent and will give the customer a stable and reliable connection. Not only does this improve download and upload speed, but more importantly, ensures that your equipment stays connected to the network.
We look forward to take part in the next MCS Knowledge Session and want to thank them for arranging these opportunity to showcase solutions and also learn from our partners.
