The linear polarised antenna has a compact design and magnet mounting making it suitable for mobile applications as well. It is ideal for machine to machine (M2M) applications that are communicating through the mobile network (GPRS / EDGE / 3G /HSPA/LTE). This antenna exceeds the performance of a standard monopole for the following reasons: It is ground plane independent, it uses high quality low-loss cable, it is a dipole, not a monopole.
