During the month of April, Juan Potgieter, President of POYNTING Inc visited the USA offices and customers during a jam-packed trip. Below some feedback and photos from Juan.
Juan said: “It was great to have an opportunity to visit the POYNTING US staff in Mansfield, Texas during April. How exciting to celebrate the first year of operations in the US!
This trip started with my flight to Miami that got cancelled at the last minute. I made a new friend at the airport, Elizabeth Durkin, who hired a car, and I hitched a ride from Dallas to Houston at 11 pm. Thanks Elizabeth!
I had a wonderful time in Houston, had dinner with Jeff our Business Development Manager, and his wife Danielle, and met with Al Rivero from Rajant Corporation to discuss potential large business opportunities.
We had time to stop at one of our Distributors Silkworldwide where we met with Andrew Hansen to receive some feedback on our POYNTING products. Had another interesting site visit at ZUPT with Ken Davis Director of Operations they specialize in Autonomous Lawnmowers and our PUCK antenna is being utilized on the equipment.
Viva Las Vegas! This was my final leg of the trip. We met with Kevin Taylor from Powerful Signal who drove all the way from Utah to have lunch with us. Thank you, Kevin, it was great to meet you in person and get to know you better.
Finally, we made it to the Channel Partners Expo, this trade show is extremely important to our partners and for us to meet new people and potential Distributors. We would like to thank our partners at Teltonika Networks that invited us to attend the show. Vytenis Petkus, Chief of Sales at Teltonika, shared some valuable information and showed us around their stand.
We always make time for a little fun and had drinks with our friends from Frontier Computer Corp Jon Grote & Jon Kellogg took time to have some laughs with Jeff and myself.”
