David de Haaij from RF Shop in Australia, received this update from Chris Sieben, one of his customers based in One Tree Hill, SA, Australia. Chris wanted do improve his internet speed at his house.

He upgraded his router from a Nighthawk to a Teltonika RUTX50. He already had a #POYNTING XPOL-2-5G antenna that he used with his Nighthawk 4G Router (the antenna is backwards compatible with 4G). By adding another XPOL-2-5G, he now had 4x4 MIMO antennas to go with the RUTX50.

The antennas were installed on the roof using 4x16m CLF400 cables to enable a full 4x4 MIMO with the antennas placed at a good height. The Teltonika RUTX50 was placed in the communication bay cupboard within the house and connected to the antennas using SMA adapter cables.

Chris got great 4G and 5G connections with strong signal, when using an Ethernet connection to his PC he got peak throughput of 639 Mbps Download and 78 Mbps Upload.

Despite not experiencing the RUTX50 through a hot summer yet, the temperature remains considerably cooler than the Nighthawk M6.
