Beth McLoughlin

Beth McLoughlin is editor of Mining Magazine. A journalist of several decades, she previously covered the energy sector for Petroleum Economist and more recently worked in the technology field with a particular focus on electric vehicles, fleet management, automation and supply chains.
Beth was a foreign correspondent in Brazil for five years, working for outlets including the BBC and US News & World Report. She speaks Portuguese and covered topics in Brazil including politics, crime, mega-sporting events, energy and natural resources.
Her background is in local papers moving to national newspapers, and she was also previously editor of Accountancy Age. Beth, who has BBC radio training, enjoys interviews and hosting lively panel discussions.
