If the venue does not have EBars available, you can use the mobile EBar, that is moved from venue to venue, providing incremental bar capacity at the busiest events worldwide. With short set-up windows and card payments reliant on stable connectivity, it is vital that their internet connectivity is consistent and easy to set up.
This is where having a well-made, strong antenna is essential. EBar, a customer based in the UK, selected the POYNTING PUCK-2 and PUCK-5 Antennas, which are installed in their equipment boxes. These boxes are smartly designed to also serve as partitions for dispensing cups.
The PUCK-2 is a small profile antenna that is extensively used in the IoT/M2M markets. It consists of a 2-in-1 antenna system within a single housing, featuring 2×2 MIMO LTE/5G antennas (for 2G/3G/4G) that cover the 617 to 4200 MHz band which includes the most popular international LTE/5G bands.
The PUCK-5 is the same as above, except it is a 5-in-1 antenna with Dual-band Wi-Fi (2X2 MIMO) and GPS/GLONASS antennas included in the enclosure.
This means EBar select one of these antennas, regardless of which mobile operator has the best signal in the area. This reduces stock holding and simplifies the setup of each system.
