Bi-Directional Dual-Band 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz Wi-Fi Antenna for IoT and Mining Tunnels

The HELI-22 is part of Poynting’s Mini-HELI series, designed to provide reliable dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity in mining tunnels where IoT and M2M communication is essential. Despite its compact size compared to larger models like the HELI-3, HELI-4, and HELI-8, the HELI-22 delivers medium to high gain performance, making it ideal for coverage into stopes and throughout tunnel environments. This bi-directional antenna radiates signals in both directions, ensuring optimal tunnel-wide Wi-Fi coverage for telemetry, mine automation, and IoT deployments.

Optimized for Tunnel Communications: Supports dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, ensuring reliable coverage for mining and industrial tunnels.
Bi-Directional Design: Provides signal coverage in both directions, making it ideal for long tunnels and extended connectivity.
MIMO-Optimized Deployment: Available in Left-Hand Circular (LHC) and Right-Hand Circular (RHC) polarisation, enhancing MIMO performance when used with the BRKT-45 mount.
Non-Line of Sight (NLOS) Propagation: Wi-Fi signals can propagate around tunnel bends, overcoming obstacles such as mining equipment and trains.
Enhanced RF Reliability: Reduces signal degradation caused by metallic surfaces, machinery, and tunnel curvature.
Compact and Durable Construction: Engineered for harsh underground conditions, ensuring long-term reliability in mining environments.
